Re: Handi-pad!
Looks pretty good. Just make sure you he/she does not break the analog sticks. Check for the limit of motion. Great work on helping someone. That is my only worry, honestly. Thankfully, he has had a power chair for years now, and his motor skills for that exact type of control are very good. Worst ...

Handi-pad!
Introducing the Handi-pad! Sure, the name is corny, but at least it's (99%) done! This is a hacked up Xbox 360 controller in a custom wooden case I have designed for a buddy of mine who has Spastic Cerebral Palsy. He plays Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning (poor, poor Mr. Curt Schilling, you were better...

Affordable ANALOG arcade joystick?
Hey all, I'm starting a special kind of arcade controller (will be revealed via making-of thread) that needs some joysticks. I will be using a hacked 360 controller for the main board, and it will be used to play more than 4-directional games. That being said, I need an affordable source for some an...

Re: Batch file for Skyrim convenience?
Okay, so from the simple little batch file seen above, and some information I got elsewhere along with a bit of tinkering, I think I have the solution. First off, I made a "Skyrim Saves" folder in my dropbox folder to make things nice and organized. The game save and TESV.exe paths are default. @ECH...

Batch file for Skyrim convenience?
Hello all, long time no-post, I know. My brother-in-law bought me a SuperJoy III the other day, so I might be on here for some making-of action. But that will be later, when school isn't. Anyway, I was one of the (sadly) few folks to pick up Skyrim on the, much better platform ;), PC. I don't know t...

Re: Adjustable project power supply?
Yeah, that's a bit steep for me right now. I guess it might be fun to build one. I would have to list the parts and see how much they cost in order to really see if it's worth it. I know Radio Shack has a little power supply project kit for about $20. But I believe it's only output is 5V DC at about...

Adjustable project power supply?
Does anyone know of a good power supply with adjustable DC voltage and amperage that would be good for a project desk? I found this: http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/power/003/index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Which seems to be pretty much perfect. But honestly it woul...

Re: Ocarina of Time 3D OST
Ah, I guess I should have updated. So I called Nintendo and gave them my information and the whole story, and to my dismay, they could do nothing for me. I was quite bummed. But as it turns out, they seemed to pull through for me. Because even though I was at least 24 hours past due (even after all ...

Re: NES reset button.
Well, you were right about it being related to the chip. Only in this case the chip was fine. There was a gouge in the board severing a trace that went from the chip to a capacitor. I bridged it with a bit of wire and boom, it works. Thanks a ton!
