Re: The Afternoon projects thread.
Did a steampunk style mod to my wii. trying to figure out if i want to put any light or gauges in it, just for giggles. not that big into steampunk, but after seeing that bronze paint and a quick internet search, it just seamed right. It looks better then the picture leads it to be. really bad ligh...

Re: The Afternoon projects thread.
Yeah, my '00 civic DX has no Tach. could you just use a couple of switches positioned so that every gear activates them and completes the switch to that particular light? (I know, sounds like WAY to much to do for something so simple, just my though)

Re: Fun to drive cars
well, I know its not (quite) what you asked for, but a 2000 honda civic hatchback with a newer (possibly even 2005 or newer) civic engine in it is really fun to drive. little thing is quick, turns on a dime, and pretty stylish as well. plus, the civic is the "Mr. Potatohead" of cars. you dream it a...

Re: Gameboy Sp Inside A Gameboy Pocket.
Why couldn't you with copious amounts of hot glue? just pull out the Pocket guts and throw in the SP's. you will have to do a little modifying with the switches, the cartridge (Advanced are too small) and the charge port, but should be entirely possible

Re: Xbox 360 Hard Drive Upgrade
i actually just saw found a hard drive for mine and did ^ and installed it. 20 gigs was way to small, but 120 is a different story. It was actually really easy, and fairly straight foreword. just follow the instructions, and you should be fine. also, xbl is not effected at all

Re: Xbox 360 Hard Drive Upgrade
I haven't heard it working with Seagate at all. So far the only thing i have seen work is the western digital scorpio and the velocoraper(sp). and even at that it only works for 20, 60, 120, and 250 gigs. how would you do so with a seagate, because from what i heard you literally had to change the ...

Re: My first ever mod :3
I have one last question. what type of paint did you use? I try to use Krylon Fussion, but for some reason, it won't dry all the way (remains tacky) which makes my controllers look like crap after a little bit of use

Re: Xbox 360 Hard Drive Upgrade
IIRC, it will not mess up your xbox live account, because the way how it is created. you essentially make it look to the xbox like it is an actual 360 HDD. problem is, it is a pain in the butt to use your own, and it has to be a certain type. at least, with the fat/old 360 anyways.

Re: My first ever mod :3
Great paint job. Did you paint the controller, or did you actually find a pre-made case? does it still do the RRoD if it occurs (you know, just a different color) or would it just not light up? Sorry for the questions. i have a very similar modded xbox and am always looking to improve it

Re: Headphone jack stuck in psp
When something like this happened to my cellphone, i just: -took cotton off a q-tip -spread a tiny bit of glue (just around the end of a qtip, so that it doesn't stick to the sides, just to the jack) -put it inside, put some pressure and wait a bit and took it out with no problem at all :-) you jus...
