Re: Quest. About led mod
I actaully tried that, the screen got brighter but the Color was only black and white from my GC. But the volume and brightness controls were still green so I'm not sure what happened I think the component (CV24) was accidentally desoldered. I soldered it back on, (very difficult) but still only bla...

Quest. About led mod
Hi I just led modded my psone screen and it is very bright without the LCDs ribbon cable in place. However, when I place the LCD ribbon cable in the clamp, the screen becomes very very dim. Does anyone know of a way I can brighten the screen while the LCD is connected?

Re: Antiglare mod
I actually have lifted up a little more of the polarizer because the piece that is stuck is on a corner, but I'll try the windex. Also I got a few smudges on the screen, is there anyway to remove them?

I tried getting it off, I even resoaked the little piece of antiglare filter on the screen but it won't budge. Any suggestio...

Re: Question about Z button
How I got it working is there is four pins where the Z button is connected on the board. The two below the top two give you signal and ground, so just wire that to a tact switch and it worked for me.
