Wow... I tested the power supply with a multimeter, and it wasn't outputting anything... so i think the n64 isn't the problem (maybe both if i'm unlucky.) I tested the input voltage and it read like 200 or something... fine... I tested it again later, and it read 0.00 :( then.... the thing exploded ...

On my voyage of building an n64 portable, the first step was opening the things... Nervous as I am, after i unscrewed those dang heatsinks, thinking that it was gonna work for sure, but you know... why not? Thanks to my idiocy, i put in the jumper pack backwards.... the tv flickered, and then nothin...

You're a fast replier, thx. :) Surely it's not 20 pounds is it? But I already found a battery in my home (camcorder) How would i go about using it as an external battery, without opening it up? The battery plus charger is a bad deal for what it's worth? Darn... what would you suggest? Higher mah? or lower price? Also, where is the best place to buy a high capacity 7 volt battery, in your opinion?

Shockslayer did that on one of his N64 portable...
