Re: Using bigger LCD on GBA?
The problem is simply finding one with rgb support that isn't widescreen. There are hundreds with composite or svideo support and 31KHz vga, but very few these days with 15KHz rgb support. You could always go GBA TV Out (with rgb mod) -> GBS-8220 Scaler -> 31KHz VGA panel, but I have found absolutel...

Re: Using bigger LCD on GBA?
I've just started a project along the same lines. I'm taking an original GBA (non-SP), an Innovation GBA TV Out, and building it into a miniature bartop-style arcade cabinet with a PSOne screen, uprated speakers, arcade joystick and buttons. It will use a EZ Flash IV, so it can be preloaded with gam...

Re: Black and white video coming out of tv games.
You most often see black and white output when using devices with mis-matched colour spaces when and the display device doesn't support both PAL/NTSC (ie a PAL device on an NTSC tv or a NTSC device on a PAL tv).

Re: Ok free video editor?
Avidemux is pretty good for basic edits - it does a whole load of format conversion work too.
If the video is in MPEG2 format, then Cuttermeran is probably one of the best video cutting tools out there; the synchronisation between audio and video streams is first class.

Re: Summer Plans
The 3000GT/GTO engine bay always looks absolutely jam packed! What's it like to drive? I almost bought one a few years ago when I was undecided about whether to go for the Supra TT or the 3000GT TT... it ended up being the Supra (" set engines to warp 9! "), but I always thought the Mitsubishi was a...

Re: amiga 600
Unfortunately thats a lot more difficult than you think. As Triton states, PC's cannot read or write Amiga floppies. If you can stretch to it, a 2.5 hard drive (or compact flash card of a few gigabytes and adapter) and maybe a 1-2mb ram upgrade would be far better - most games are now installable an...
Re: amiga 600
Most of the Pinball (Dreams/Illusions/etc.) series are freely available from the developers and Team 17 have released a lot of their back catalogue for download - beyond those sorts of scenarios you're in the normal murky waters of finding games (through they're not too hard to find if you try the u...
