Re: MGC 2013 thread?!?
Yep, you'll be very close to the Nippon Import Group room which is where the Q will be. ;) The Midwest Light Gun Association will be in the same hall too, as well as the MGC Fight Club, the NES devs will be down there, etc., etc. If you remember where the museum wing was last year, you're basically ...

Re: MGC 2013 thread?!?
Hey folks, I have a Panasonic Q that we're going to be setting up in the Nippon Import Group room near you guys on Sunday. Unfortunately, the Q sounds like it is on its last legs... The fan sounds horrible when you first turn it on, the tray sometimes needs to be pushed a little to the right in orde...

Re: MGC 2011 thread!
what revision single slot board is it? and if you have the rest of the parts that would be needed for a consolization i might be interested in doing that for you for a reasonable price :) Took me a little bit to figure out where the revision number was, but I found out that it is a MV-1FZ. It doesn...

Re: MGC 2011 thread!
I have a single-slot Neo Geo MVS board that is in need of some repair if anyone at the MGC would be willing to look at it? Basically, the unit works OK at first, but the longer that you keep it on the poorer the picture becomes until it is so "wavey" that you can no longer see anything. I've been to...

Re: MGC 2010 HYPE thread
I had a few issues with some of the systems in the museum area last year that some of you were able to fix (a Turbo Duo for one, thank you again!) This year hopefully I won't have any issues with transport, but I do have two systems I'm hoping someone might be able to take look at and fix? I have a ...

Serp tables are rectangular tables with a bit of a curve, generally very good for exhibits. Good corner tables too. If you guys are interested, here's how the floor plan is filling up: http://home.comcast.net/~dhghunter/mgc-2010-main.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~dhghunter/mgc-2010-lower.jpg Later.

Re: Famicom Twin Repair
I finally got myself completely unpacked from the MGC and decided to toy around with the Twin Famcom a bit more. I cracked the system open and began looking around for any obvious signs of trouble with the system. Aside from a dust bunny and a few hairs, the system appears to be fine so I locked it ...

Re: Famicom Twin Repair
is the hum located in the audio or is the system itself emitting the hum? also, has there been a previous repair to the system? The hum is from the audio port itself coming through the TV speakers. It is not eminating from the Famicom Twin itself. As far as repairs are concerned, I can't say that i...

Famicom Twin Repair
Hey folks, I ran into a problem at the Midwest Gaming Classic where the sound no longer worked on my Famicom Twin when I put in a Famicom cartridge. The Famicom disks still sound OK, but I get a pretty nasty hum with the carts. I don't remember the two guys that looked at the system at the show, but...
