What sites?

seganerds.com has it embedded as well as a website I believe is called dreamcastjunkyard.com or something like that. a lot of the people are giving constructive criticism but on the flip side there are some giving negative criticism.

Excellent job for a first portable! I like the use of hinges on the back. 8)

It is not junk! It is assorted goods with no current use.

There's an old sports quote that I love to use in situations like this...
Those who can't play coach. Those who can't coach sit 10 rows back shouting obscenities.
So tell the little douches to shut up or do it themselves! Sorry for the harsh language, but that's about how much I respect people like that. You've made a solid portable and you should be proud.

Yeah that's pretty much what I have been saying. But for all the websites that have been saying anything about it I just kindly post a comment on their blogs and what not telling a little more about it and in one case it turned out for the better and all the people afterwards were complimentary. So that's good. I just realized that they don't understand what kind of work goes into making a portable and so I just try to shrug off their comments.

Yes, it's on Engadget, but their article wasn't overly impressed, which was a bit harsh of them I thought.

We think you did well with your portable, take solace in that!

Yeah it's crazy cause my Youtube video went from 1000 views to over 10,000 views in less then a day just from being on edgadget. I definitely wasn't very happy with what they said about it. Saying it was made out of a jewelry box even though out of this whole project that case took me the longest of all the other things. But no one, besides the people on here, know what kind of effort goes into making these things. But I'm happy I got on Engadget!

Is it me, or is engadget run by a bunch of jackasses?

Hey, check out this portable dreamcast, it's not as nice as this one, but this one here is even worse.

Plus they embedded a link with a sessionid in there (it's not a big deal, but you'd expect them not to do these things)

Engadget aren't douches. They speak their mind and aren't afraid to hold back.

Nothing wrong with that.

Yeah I wasn't too upset that they said what they said. The only part that kind of upset me was how they didn't just criticize my portable they just down right made fun of it, with their comment on it being made from a jewelry box. Cause it most certainly wasn't. :) Other than that I was just happy I even made it on Engadget.
