Intrest check: Could anyone use an 80's laptop?

I got an old 80's style laptop that works great. It has a pretty thick chassis for your next 360 laptop project! Screen is in great condition and ready to tear open. I think it's an old 286 or something. I'll get pics up if theres a response. Anyone interested?

I'd be interested, but probably wouldn't be willing to pay for something like it. The only use I've ever had for old laptops is as a portable terminal for headless computers.

The only problem is that the screen is useless on it.

yeah... Why do usable LCDs have to be so hard to come by at a reasonable price?

Some very old laptops like this included an LCD controller. With a bit of luck this might be the case for this.

Sorry mates, we'll have to wait on those pics. The Laptop is temporarily misplaced. We'll get the pics up as soon as I can. I forgot to mention that the unit comes in a bag.
